Experience a Tasty Treat from Around the World

World Market is full of  artisan furniture, home decor, and foods from around the globe.

Recently, my husband and I decided to visit the World Market, in the Queen Creek Market Place, on a date to enrich our taste buds with foods we had never eaten before.  Our date took us on a cultural extravaganza, from the Asian music playing in the background to the eclectic collection of handmade furniture and one-of-a-kind jewelry

We were both excited to go on our global food treasure hunt as we headed over to the large selection of sweets, drinks, and  gourmet foods from around the world.

After walking up and down the food and drink aisle for several minutes we narrowed our food choices to a packet of licorice flavored Mentos called "Lakris Mint," a product of  Holland, and a box of Japanese style "Red Bean Mochi," which looks like a powered doughnut on the outside and is filled with red beans made into a thick jelly type texture.

After purchasing our items we found a quiet bench to sit on, just outside of the store, where we indulged ourselves in the unique tastes of our World Market items.  We had fun critiquing our choices and feeding each other these distinct foods.

It was fun hunting for foods we had never eaten before and sharing an intimate moment of feeding each other in the middle of a public shopping center.

Relationship Tip!  Be spontaneous!  Think, taste, or do something outside of the box every once in a while to spice up your relationship with your spouse.
